The strange origins of Kylo Ren's lightsaber

Kylo Ren's lightsaber came thousands of years before him. The first place in star wars history, where it showed up was the Great Scourge of Malachor. The Knights of Ren were the only ones allowed to wield them. His crossgaurd blades are tradittionally called quillons.
